What is your pay rate and how often will i be paid?
If you are joining as a part-time or full-time employee, we offer a guaranteed base compensation derived from the quantity of weekly visits you guarantee to make available for us inside your specific zip code bound coverage area. We typically ensure the guaranteed visit quantity is less than 80% of the proven weekly demand to account for any missed visits and schedule fluctuations. In a given work week if you complete more than the guaranteed visit quantity or if you complete visits outside of your pre-defined zip code bound coverage area, you will be paid a visit bonus equal to 15% of your normal rate in addition to your normal visit rate. Pay periods run from the 1st through the 15th which pays on the last day of that month and the 16th through the end of the month which pays the 15th of the following month.
As an employee you will maintain schedule flexibility while we collaborate with you on dividing your coverage area into specific days of the week to avoid travel throughout a coverage area in one work day. In addition to trying to maintain an efficient route, for all TTR visits mileage is paid at $0.67/mile from your home office to your first visit, in between each visit and back to your home office.
We also offer 6 paid holidays per year at your guaranteed base compensation per day equivalent plus after 1 full year of employment you will be eligible to earn 2 weeks PTO. For employees who work more than 35 hours you are eligible for a health allowance bonus with each paycheck. Otherwise, if PRN is the route you desire, we offer excellent competitive rates in the home health market. When determining your pay rate we consider your years of experience and availability to take referrals. PRN Therapists are paid weekly by direct deposit.
what is my tax status?
If you elect to be a part-time or full-time employee as a dedicated member of a coverage and sub-region team, you will be treated as an employee and will receive a W2 tax form.
When working as a PRN therapist for Texas Therapy Resources you are classified as an independent contractor and will receive a 1099 tax form from us at the end of the year indicating your total earnings.
how do i receive patient referrals?
As an employee we will onboard you to our field management system and visits will be published to your schedule according to the zip code and day of the week you work in that zip code. Once your schedule has reached the guaranteed minimum visit quantity we will reach out through the app to inquire if you wish to take on additional visits inside your coverage area.
